PictureBook Plays is a technique developed by SerahRose and Sharon, based on SerahRose’s work in theatres and chidren’s museums, along with Sharon’s expertise in early childhood development.
It is a method for creating “insta-theatre” using children’s picture books and guiding children through the play-making process (as opposed to ‘directing’ children to perform a play).
This method has been developed specifically for children ages two through five, but it can easily be applied to all ages and levels of actors and used by parents, early childhood educators, and theatre artists.
